CROWLEY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL 719-267-4858 pickmeplease2008@live.com SECARE, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit shelter licensed with the State of Colorado, Department of Agriculture, PACFA division. This facility complies with all regulations and meets all standards of care. All relinquished animals must adequately pass a behavioral assessment prior to acceptance. All health issues will be assessed on a case by case basis prior to acceptance. All adult animals are held a minimum of 11 days for rabies quarantine. All puppies are held a minimum of 21 days for Parvo assessment. Any cats accepted at SECARE are done so with the understanding cats will most likely end up as barn cats. All adoptable animals will either be held at the shelter, placed in SECARE foster homes or transferred to other no-kill facilities in order to best facilitate a satisfactory placement for the animal into an appropriate environment. SECARE will not knowingly place or transfer an animal into a neglectful, abusive home or other facility. Nor into kill shelters or laboratory situations. |
