Call 719-267-4858 or e-mail the shelter if there's a special dog (as we cannot bring them all) you'd like to see at our adoption fair at Circle F Ranch Supply located on Garden of the Gods Road just east of I25 in Colorado Springs, Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Spay and Neuter is now a state law for shelters and a deposit is included in the adoption price. If the animal is not already altered, state law requires it be done within 90 days of the adoption.

Please note: due to the number of returned checks, we are now only able to accept cash, or credit cards through PayPal. Thanks for your understanding.

If the animal is not already altered, the shelter will either provide the surgery through Hamlett Spay and Neuter Clinic, or High Plains Veterinary Hospital, both located in Colorado Springs, or Southern Colorado Spay and Neuter Clinic in Pueblo, or will reimburse the new owner $55 for a spay or $45 for a neuter toward the cost of the surgery once proof (provided by the vet) is sent to the shelter.
